<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">To make this card, I cut a 5” square mat and stamped my image and sentiments in place. I coloured my image using copics, then added details to the sentiment and flowers using a glitter pen. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">I wrapped ribbon around the top of the panel and tied the ribbon into a bow. I then layered this panel onto a piece of pink paper.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">I used the pink paper to cover the front of my 7” square card blank before adding a mat of cream patterned paper. I used foam tape to attach the finished panel to the centre of the card.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">I think this is a nice christening card... it uses quite a traditional image, made clean and fresh by using the coral and keeping the design simple.</span></div>

Once happy I glued my panel to my card blank.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: courier;">Mx</span></p>crafty lil mousehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00698923101125871261noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2823580494119534195.post-69324780000335502152021-05-09T07:27:00.002-07:002021-05-09T10:37:20.315-07:00Perennial birthday <p><span style="font-family: courier;"> </span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVlJvNBhytkzByTp_2KuOXL0b6UhWO756LfLtLf_noU9s-n3b8LJoowCBfXTSZpG3jg1Pw53CpbNkL1L6jXcJLzKPT7hAoL9CPUc0jKrx757fLydEta2Uo3Y5AIJxlPEDroFKD-m-T_SI/s2048/03F9C5FC-2064-40C7-9CA4-27A8D275F023.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: courier;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVlJvNBhytkzByTp_2KuOXL0b6UhWO756LfLtLf_noU9s-n3b8LJoowCBfXTSZpG3jg1Pw53CpbNkL1L6jXcJLzKPT7hAoL9CPUc0jKrx757fLydEta2Uo3Y5AIJxlPEDroFKD-m-T_SI/s320/03F9C5FC-2064-40C7-9CA4-27A8D275F023.jpeg" /></span></a></div><p></p><p><span style="font-family: courier;">Stampin up!- perennial birthday & family party</span></p><p><span style="font-family: courier;">Stampin up!ink pad- melon mambo, Bermuda bay, cucumber crush, crushed curry, pumpkin pie</span></p><p><span style="font-family: courier;">Archival ink pad- jet black</span></p><p><span style="font-family: courier;">Lawn fawn- stitched borders die</span></p><p><span style="font-family: courier;">White card stock, paint brush & water</span></p><p><span style="font-family: courier;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: courier;">Make a card blank and stamp the flowers with black ink. <span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">I cut a piece of water colour card roughly to size and stamped my image. I taped the card down and coloured the flowers, leaving the thanks without any colour. Once dried, I trimmed the panel to the size I wanted. I matted onto some black cardstock, so a band showed at the top and bottom. I folded my cardblank and added glitter tape to the top and bottom edges. I glued the coloured panel on top to finish my card. I did this flat for posting but using foam tape would be lovely too. </span></div>

</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">To make this frame gift, I selected two pieces of coordinating paper. I chose one 8x8 piece for the background and the other to die cut from for embellishments. <span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">I diecut the frame and letters to spell the name from the patterned paper. </span><span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">I also diecut my bambi image from white card and added tape to the back, whilst all the pieces where still in the metal die, to hold the sections together. I then removed the bambi from the die and added back in any pieces that had fallen out. I used copic markers to colour the image, using a picture online as reference. </span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">I decided on the best layout and glued all of the pieces onto the background paper. I used a craft knife to remove any paper showing through the die-cut frame to create an aperture for a photo to sit behind.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">I slotted this finished piece into the frame and added a sheet of white card behind, to make it look nice for gifting. I prefer to leave it for the child’s parents to decide which picture they want to display rather than selecting one you like.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">I was asked to make a great grandson card for a little boy turning 6. I created a custom sentiment on the computer to fit inside the rectangle die, printed it onto Neenah card stock and cut it out. For the image I stamped, die cut and coloured the scooter boy. I covered the cardblank with the patterned paper and die cut a panel of a coordinating red card. To complete the card, I simply arranged the pieces onto the cardblank, overlapping each other, with just the sentiment raised on foam pads for a bit of dimension. </span></div>

<span style="font-family: Courier New;">6x4" card blank</span></div>
</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">This card was so quick and easy to make, it would be perfect for a beginner. The hunkydory foiled toppers always make your cards feel very professional too.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">To make this card, I folded my card blank and creased the fold. I cut my patterned cardstock to fit the front of the card, then glued in place using double sided tape.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">If you don’t feel confident you can place it perfectly, you can cut the patterned cardstock slightly bigger than your card front and glue in place. Then, turn your card over and using scissors trim to size, using the edge of the card blank as a guide.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">After this, I added the toppers and used foam tape/squares to add dimension, to make it feel more special. I chose to raise the frame for this card. You can either glue the frame down, then add the image in flat after. Alternatively, you could place the frame in the centre of your card without any glue, allowing you to position and glue the image topper inside. Once in place, you remove the frame, add your foam tape and glue it down using your centre as the guide.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">It really is that simple!</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">I stamped, coloured and die cut my image into a circle. I layered this onto the next size die-cut circle, in a coordinating coloured cardstock. I printed my sentiment onto cardstock and die-cut it into a circle, then layered it with pink the same as the image.<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;"> I mat and layered the card blank with coloured cardstock and floral paper. To complete the card, I glued everything onto my card blank, using different depths of foam pads for dimension. <span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">I cut a piece of white card stock to the size of my card and used the ink pads to create a rainbow background. I used a lot of colours to get a smooth blend but you don’t need to. I then lined up the alphabet dies onto the background and cut, keeping all the pieces. I stamped the sentiment underneath. I trimmed the background down and layered onto a matt of black cardstock, then glued to the card blank. To add depth, I die cut the same letters from foam and glued them into the gaps on the background, topped with the saved cardstock piece</span><span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">s. I love how simple but effective this card is.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">To make this card I firstly stamped and coloured my image using copics. I added a touch of sparkle to the pink details on her wings (although this doesn’t show on the pictures). I then decided on a layout using the sketch and stamped the ‘thanks’ sentiment in place.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">I felt this was a little too much blank space, so I added a ombré of yellow to the card blank to create a background. I then added a few sequins for embellishment. <div style="text-align: center;">
Although the yellow turned out a bit darker than I planned and the card is possibly too fussy. I quite like it and feel it is more appropriate for the recipient.</div>
