sale continued

well the other things i bought in the sales were some gorguss stamps, they are lovely!! both the clear and the grey rubber give a good impression, i like that you get bonus accent stamps with the clear sets but i do love grey rubber so nice to have both options...

i made this purple card using one of the clear sets. i used the girl as the main image coloured using promarkers. then i diecut her out in a nice shape using my big shot machine and dies from stamping up! i made the background straight on to the card blank using tim holtz distress ink pads in purple tones, then stamped with the snowflake accent on the stamp set to match the girl, finally i added a white ribbon tied in a bow!!
i think she looks super cute as she is but you could fit a 'merry christmas' or other sentiment below the topper if you prefered...

this card was made using another clear stamp set. i stamped the image onto craftwork cards digi cardstock and coloured using promarkers. i then matted it on to a 4x4" card blank i coloured using tim holtz distress ink pad (aged mahogany). finally i added a stamping up! message.

hope you like the projects because no doubt you will be seeing these gorguss girls again!!

sale

well the craft sales will be coming to an end shortly but i hope you all got some lovely goodies. i picked up a few bits so although they may be a bit random projects for the time of year, i just couldn't wait to use my new stuff so here goes anyway...

first i got these dies from sizzix the movers & shapers by tim holtz. i got the pumpkin jack and the mini silly jack-o-lantern  and the scary jack-o-lantern faces. these are great because you can to put the faces in to the punkin or use the faces seperately with the base plate they sell or just have a faceless pumpkin...
the choice is yours!!

i have done a bit of everything and used the dies to cut the face out of all the layers of the card, so you will see the light through it. then added a pumkin with a matching face, i use grunge board and tim holtz distress crackle paint for more texture to my pumpkin but i think a nice weight of cardstock would look nice aswell if you were making a few.
