bright birthday

  • Archival ink
  • tim holtz ink pad - salty ocean, shaded lilac, barn door, spiced marmalade, squeezed lemonade, mowed lawn
  • SU! - 'crazy about you' stamps and 'hello you' thinlits
  • sekura black micron pen
I decided to add a splash of colour to this simple sketch by inking a card blank and some cardstock with rainbow colours using tim holtz distress ink pads. I die cut the 'happy' sentiment from the inked cardstock and added it to a white mat, stamped with the 'birthday' sentiment. For added detail, I created a hand drawn stitch border around the mat and glued this onto the inked card blank.
