Beep Beep!!

thought i'd share this fun little card....I love that everything comes from one stamp set. kept the design simple with a touch of embossing and some matts using up offcuts of coloured paper to bring it all to life.

i used  transport travels stamp set designed by Kirsty Wiseman, memento ink pad and digi cardstock by craftworkcards. I coloured the stamped design using promarkers. the blue was embossed with the stripes embossing folder from stampin up! the other layers were plain coloured cardstock, cut to shape. messages were added from the same stamp set to finish the design off.

corner bookmark

In the past I have made origami heart bookmarks and have noticed the recent trend in corner bookmarks so thought this might be the perfect chance, as part for a gift to match a character book, for a recent christening I was invited to.

I used a template that I got from a quick search online, some white & red card, a framelits die from stampin up! and Disney papers and stickers from sandylion, I also used the computer to type and print the personal message  for the back since this was for a special occasion.

christening day

well don't you just love it when a plan comes together... I am always very pleased when all you start of with is a blank sheet of white card or two, some ink and few beautiful stamps. a big thanks to my friend crafty carol who lent me the my special day stamp set from stampin up! I also added the baby christening stamp from lili of the valley, which I coloured using my promarkers. the background was created using  tim holtz distress ink pad (in tumbled glass) and the swirl stamp from the everything Eleanor set from stampin up!. I also die cut an aperture using sizzix oval dies and my big shot.

I used the my special day stamp set from stampin up! and a archival ink pad in cobalt to stamp on white tissue paper, I then layered on to blue tissue paper which I used to wrap my christening gift. I made a gift tag using the same image and the christening sentiment. I think it just added a little extra personal touch.

forgot to mention the 'its your' is a do craft stamp (not sure which set I got it off) and the 'on your' is from a dawn bibby stamp set (again not sure which one exactly).
