worlds best mother !!

  • SU! nice cuppa stamp set and cups & kettle framelit dies
  • fresh floral paper stack -DCWV
  • 6x4" card blank
  • white and pink cardstock
  • tim holts 'picked raspberry' distress ink
  • wink of stella- clear
I die-cut the tea cup once from pink card and 3 times in white. I inked all the edges with distress and glued them together for a dimensional element. I then stamped the sentiment onto it and highlighted this with glitter to create the topper. To complete the card, I added a mat and layered panel of patterned paper and stuck them to the card following the sketch.

flowering fields...

  • 6x4" white card blank +black & kraft cardstock
  • SU!- flowering fields
  • archival (jet black) ink pad
  • lawn fawn cuts- happy birthday border
  • SU! chalk marker
I cut all my mats and layers for this card. I stamped the smallest (kraft) layer with some floral images and a small butterfly from the same stamp set. I added some white highlights to the flowers using the chalk marker. I die cut the happy birthday sentiment from some black card stock and glued this across the bottom of my card. I glued all the layers together to complete my card.
I think this is a lovely card that could suit many occasions if you chose different sentiment dies to use.

just for you...

inside
  • black 6x4 card blank + white cardstock
  • SU! botanicals for you
  • archival (jet black) ink pad
  • tim holtz distress ink pads (abandoned coral, fossilized amber, tumbled glass and shabby shutters)
  • wink of stella (clear)

I cut two mats of white card to fit my blank. I then stamped the main sentiment into the centre of one. Using the various coloured inks, I stamped the flowers to create a background framing the sentiment. I also added a flourish of them in the corner of the second mat along with a sentiment for the inside of the card. I then glued the mats onto the card blank. The final touch for the card was some glitter to emphasise the sentiment. I think these messages and the flowers are great for all sorts of occasions and the flat design also makes it perfect for posting!!
