we'll miss you!

  • Hunkydory special occasions luxury card collection: we'll miss you!
  • gold mirri card
  • cardblanks
For the first card, I trimmed down one of the patterned papers so the balloons and border filled the card front. I glued this to the card flat and finished with a sentiment topper on foam pads, positioned along the border.

With the remaining cardstock, I trimmed this down to fit the square card blank on a matt of gold mirri card. This cut most of the starry border off, leaving the bold diamond edged border on to sit across the bottom of the card. I added two of the image toppers on, overlapping with different heights of foam pads to create dimension. I positioned the sentiment topper in the bottom corner, again using foam pads. The finishing touch was a scatter of star sequins flowing across the design to pull everything together (including the odd little printed stars which remained).

With the other patterned cardstock, I trimmed and matted onto gold mirri to fill the front of an A5 cardblank. This was simply finished with two of the toppers from the set, positioned on foam pads.

I made a second A5 card using the last of the patterned cardstock. I used the balloon topper pieces to create two balloons, with cotton for the strings to join the baskets. I carefully glued them into place, with a sentiment to complete the design.

Floral shadow

  • Altenew- floral shadow
  • Avery elle- with sympathy
  • Archival'jet black & sepia' ink pads
  • Kraft & black card stock
I trimmed a piece of black card and folded it down the centre to create a card blank. I then cut matt of kraft cardstock for the front of the card. I stamped the floral images across the top of the card in the sepia ink, following the sketch. I then added the sentiment, stamped in black  beneath. I glued the kraft matt onto the card front to complete this simple card. I think the simplicity of the design works perfectly for a sympathy card, with the focus on the message created by the space in the sketch and stronger contrast of ink.

Baby bear

  • SU!- baby bear
  • SU! 'crumb cake, soft suede & chocolate chip' ink pads
  • Kraft & ivory cardstock
  • brown adhesive pearl

I cut the ivory cardstock to matt onto the kraft card blank. I stamped the 3 layers of the bear, working from light to dark. To make lining up each layer easier, I used my misti, but the stamps are clear so you could manage without. I finished the card off with a simple message stamped onto kraft card. I cut the sentiment into a banner shape, finished with an adhesive pearl. I kept this card neutral with the ivory and brown tones for sending to those who wish to keep the babies gender a surprise.

  • 6"x6" white cardblank
I followed the sketch layout to create this pretty card for a baby girl. I chose the paper and trimmed it down to create the border. I cut strips of silver paper to edge this top and bottom, before gluing flat to the card front. I stamped, coloured and die cut the image to coordinate. For the sentiment, I die cut the word, coloured it with copics and added glitter pen to make it sparkle. I glued the topper and sentiment into position to complete the card.

party girl

  • hunkydory tots to teens card collection: party girl
  • hunkydory tots to teens little book
  • hunkydory essential book of 2016 sentiments
  • Tattered lace- 'large numbers' dies
  • gold mirri, pink, teal and black adorable scorable cardstock
  • pink ribbon
  • A5 (black), 8x8", 5x7", 6x6", 6x4" card blanks
For the 8" square card, I cut down a piece of patterned card to matt on gold mirri for the front of the card. I added the large image topper and positioned the sentiment topper to overlap. I added the matching insert to complete the inside too.

I used the spare border from the cardstock to trim the top of this 6x4" card. I used some teal cardstock beneath and added coordinating ribbon to cover the join. I then placed the little image topper with the sentiment tag staggered on the front. I added a bow tied in the same ribbon to cover the hole in the top of the sentiment tag to finish.

Using the remaining off-cut of patterned cardstock, I made this simple 6x4" card. I covered the front with gold mirri and trimmed the cardstock down to layer on top. I completed the design with a sentiment topper glued on with foam pads.

I designed this card using the circle image topper and a coordinating sentiment. I layered these onto soft pink cardstock, trimmed with a piece of the balloon cardstock below. I covered the join between the two cardstocks with the sentiment border from the collection.
I used the remaining border to add a sentiment to this simple card. I used more of the soft pink card to matt onto the card front. I layered the little book image with gold mirri card and centred this on the card front, before adding the border across.

I made this A5 card using a black card blank to bring out the little black dress on the topper. I cut the balloon cardstock to leave a small edge of black on the card front and gutted the centre to save the cardstock which would be covered by the topper, before gluing onto the card. I matted a little book page onto gold mirri, then layered onto black cardstock to create the topper. I completed the front with a '21' die-cut from the same gold mirri card and added a section of insert to finish the inside.

I used a strip of the remaining balloon cardstock to create a decorative border on a square card. I edged the balloons with gold mirri next to the little book image and completed with a coordinating sentiment from the essential book. I had enough cardstock and little book pages to make 2 more of this design to complete the collection.

packaging pouches!!

  • Kraft & cream cardstock
  • Stampin up! 'skinny mini alphabet' & 'epic alphabet' stamp sets
  • Archival ' sepia' ink pad
  • Card bags
I stitched these little pouches as gifts and wanted to package them nicely to send. I found clear card bags which fit the pouches in neatly and sealed them in. For the top piece, I measured the width of the bag and decided on the height I wanted, (bearing in mind the stamp size + matting). I cut the Kraft card to the right width and doubled the height. I folded the cardstock in half over the top of the bag and secured with staples. I then cut the cream cardstock to layer on top and cover the staples. Before gluing into place, I used the letter stamps to spell out the contents 'wash bag!' or 'cosmetic bag' to complete this simple packaging.

just married

  •  hunkydory special occasions luxury card collection: just married
  • silver mirri card
  • A5, 6x6" & 7x7" card blanks

For the first card, I took the plainer half of one cardstock sheet and matted this onto the A5 card blank. I then positioned the topper image and frame on the front, with the 'just married' letter hearts arranged below and glued down with foam pads.

I created a 6" square card using the image on the remaining cardstock as a focal point. I simply trimmed and layered onto silver mirri to fit the card front. I added the sentiment topper on foam to complete.

For the 7x7" card, I used the remaining toppers and cardstock to create a softer look. Again, I trimmed the matt of cardstock down, layered onto mirri and glued to the card front. I added the centre image topper and frame, finished with the sentiment in the top corner.
