I cut a piece of white cardstock to fit the front of my cardblank. I embossed this to make a snowfall effect. I tied baker's twine around the top of the matt and tied a bow, before I glued it to the cardblank. I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the image. I added a sentiment stamp below then glued onto the bottom of my card blank using foam tape for dimension.

To create the watermark background, I stamped my floral images on to the teal card stock using versamark. I have the dazzle version of this ink pad so it gives a slight shimmer without being over powering. I trimmed this down to fit my card blank, leaving a slight border. I then wrapped twine around my panel and tied in a knot.

I stamped my sentiment on to white card and die cut into a circle. I die cut a slightly bigger black cardstock circle and layered with the sentiment matt. I attached the circle sentiment using foam, positioned off to one side of my card to follow the sketch. I added the completed panel on to a white card blank, again using foam for dimension. To finish, I added the coordinating sentiment inside the card.

I stamped the image onto the Neenah card stock using memento ink and coloured her with copics. I diecut the image into a rectangle to create the topper. I added a message stamp using archival ink. I then stamped the background directly onto the card blank before adding the topper, using funky foam for dimension. I tied the twine around the top of the card and secured with a knot. The final touch was glitter on the wings.

I stamped, coloured and diecut the large image from white cardstock. I then created a patterned panel by stamping lots of nuts and colouring them in, again on white cardstock. I diecut the Kraft cardstock into shape and layered with the nuts panel onto the card blank. I added the large nut with foam for dimension. To finish, I coloured twine with my copics for a perfect match and tied on with a bow.

I die cut the tag shape from white card. I then stamped this with my image, coloured with copics and added glitter to her wings. I die cut the sentiments, 3 times from white cardstock and once again from patterned paper. I then glued the sentiments together in a stack, topped with the patterned paper to create dimension. I then trimmed my card blank to fit the tag shape of the topper and glued this down. I punched a hole through the top and added twine, secured with a bow to complete.

I water coloured the blue to create a background. On another piece of card, I stamped the sentiment, die cut into the balloon shape and water coloured it pink. I added darker pink to letters and sparkled once dry. I stamped, coloured and die cut the elephant from a further piece of card. I glued the background to card blank, then added the balloon using foam pads. I then tied twine around the elephant's tail and positioned it on the card, again using foam for dimension. I looped the loose end of twine around the balloon and secured with a knot. I finished with some dots of glue along twine to hold it in place.

I stamped the image using red and black ink. I then used my copics to colour the face and add shading to the beard. To complete the sketch, I added patterned paper to the front of the card blank and matted the image panel onto some coordinating green paper. I wrapped bakers twine around this panel and glued it onto the card, using foam tape for dimension. I wanted to keep this one really quick and simple since Christmas is almost here and I haven't made enough cards yet!!

I cut a mat of paper to fit my card blank and glued this down as a background. I then die cut the different shapes and words from coordinating coloured papers. I glued these into a stack and backed them with cardstock for stability. I then wrapped twine around the top and secured it with a bow. finally, I glued this topper to the card  using foam.

To make this card I diecut a matt of copic friendly cardstock. I stamped my image and matching sentiment. I coloured my image using copics and added sparkle to the wings. I glued the matt on to the front of a card blank. To finish my card, i wrapped bakers twine around the top fold of the card and tied it in a bow.

To make this card I cut a piece of card slightly smaller than my card front. I inked the background with yellow and added some brown around the edges. I stamped some script over the piece to create a background paper. I cut a smaller second panel of card and stamped this with my image and sentiment. I then water coloured the image using distress inks. I added glitter to the sentiment and bee wings. I wrapped twine around the edge of the panel and secured it with a knot. I used foam tape to glue my panel to the card front to add dimension.

I stamped my card blank to create a white dotty background. I added some yellow twine towards the bottom of my card. To do this, I wrapped it around the card blank twice and tied a knot. I die cut the word friend twice, once in some coral cardstock and once in funky foam, then glued both of these layers together to create dimension. I glued this sentiment onto the card blank underlined by the twine. I die cut the solid butterfly in a yellow cardstock, then used a detail butterfly die (in the same size) to cut the coral layer. I glued these together just in the centre (leaving the wings loose to add more dimension), then added them to my card design. The final touch was a few sequins as sparkly accents.

 

 I have finally found a liquid glue that is brilliant to use!! I used the tombow mono multi liquid glue to stick down everything on this card.

to make these cards, I inked my card blanks with the coordinating colours. I die cut the stitched square from white cardstock. I added my large sentiment stamp to this, placing it near the bottom. I coloured the open areas in the sentiment to match some paper I had chosen. I added wink of stella over the colouring for a bit of added sparkle. I cut a strip of the patterned paper and die cut with the same stitched square die so this detail would follow right around the edge of the card. I then used a landscape die to create a curve on the bottom edge to follow the sketch. i threaded some twine through the button and tied in a knot. I glued all the layers on to my card blank before finally adding my button. to finish the card, i also stamped a matching 'congratulations' sentiment inside the card.

 

i made a slight change on the girl card, using a white paper flower and a small pink button instead of the large button. i still added the white twine, but tied this in a bow to be more girly.

I cut my mat of paper and the banner. I die cut the shapes for the topper to complete the sketch. I inked all of the edges of the mats with the distress ink. I added a congratulations onto the banner then glued these layers onto the card. I stamped the booties onto the topper and coloured the image. I then stuck this onto the scallop mat and used foam pads to add this to the card. the finishing touch was the bows tied in twine.

• A3 kraft cardstock- cut to 30x29cm
• cream card stock- cut to 14x7cm 
• coloured bakers twine (150cm)

To make the box, I scored the kraft cardstock and cut the flaps, to create the net below. I then added glue the appropriate areas and stuck them together.

 

 To make the label I cut my cream cardstock to 14x7cm and cut holes in all four corners. I used thinlit dies to cut out my letters to just leave a negative, you could cut the letters out of a coloured cardstock. another alterative would be to stamp on to the label. I added bakers twines through the holes on one short edge, then crossed them underneath, before bringing them up through the holes on the opposite edge. I tied the ends in a bow to keep the label on. I used coloured twine to coordinate with the colour of scarf in the box.

I chose to add the label in this way so the box is kept plain making it easy to reuse.

I cut 3 butterflies from different coloured cardstock using the punch and lined them up on the desk. I  stamped the flowers once onto my card blank, then 2nd generation stamped onto the butterflies. I then used foam pads to stick the butterflies down the centre of the card. I added twine through holes in the top of the card and tied it in a bow following the sketch.

two by two...

I decided to create a vibrant, gender neutral baby card and thought this Noah's ark stamp would work well with the kraft and yellow colour scheme. Following the sketch, I cut my cardstock on an angle to create my mat and layers. I stamped the image (not inking the sentiment attached) and coloured this with promarkers. I then cleaned the stamp and inked only the sentiment this time. this was cut into a banner shape and layered onto more yellow. I curled the edge for a bit of dimension before gluing down all of my layers onto the card blank. the finishing touch of a button tied with twine was added to complete the sketch.

I folded a kraft card blank in half and stamped the splatter background ( French foliage by SU!) in memento (rich cocoa) ink. I then cut a piece of white digi cardstock and stamped positively chevrons from SU! using tim holtz (mustard seed) distress ink, using the remaining ink to create a softer shade between the chevrons. I wrapped twine around this panel tied in a knot on the front. This was then stuck to the card blank using foam pads for dimension.  Finally, I stamped the coffee cup (perfect blend by SU!) using memento ink. I stamped it twice, colouring one brown with copics and adding the message to the other with a cream background using promarkers. I then cut out the images to decoupage the cream sections onto the complete brown cup. I stuck this onto the card to complete the cas(e) this sketch challenge.

I stamped the LOTV 'Annabel tug of war' stamp using memento ink. I coloured this using copic markers. I used sizzix ticket dies to cut this out and framed it by tracing the outer edge of the die onto pink cardstock to create my mat. Both pink mats were embossed with polka dots. I layered the background up with paper from LOTV 'pastel dreams'. I stamped the niece sentiment from 'for my family' SU! onto the main image. I also used the happy birthday from this set, which I cut out with the bitty banner die set. I layered this onto pink, and finished it off with American crafts twine tied through a button. I stuck these onto my 5 x 7 card blank following the freshly made sketch. The finishing touch was stickles clear glitter around the topper and background paper, completing my choices for the craft hoarder challenge.

I cut a mat of card slightly smaller than my card blank and stamped my floral image (so very grateful from SU!) along the bottom edge. I coloured the image using promarkers. To follow the sketch, I stamped a sentiment (express yourself from SU!) a little above the image . I also added several rows of twine with a bow tied beneath the message. I kept the colour palette simple on this card by using only 2 colours which match with my bakers twine (American crafts). I added extra detail by glittering the edges of my mat with a sakura pen. To finish the card I glued the mat to the front of my 6x4" card blank using foam pads to give it a bit of dimension.

 

 

I added an insert to add an extra special touch to the card. I cut another mat of card, edged in glitter pen with a single stamped and coloured image in the corner. I will add a sentiment at a later date to customise the card when I'm ready to send it.

the main image is from the summer afternoon stamp set from stampin up!, i stamped it with memento and coloured using copics and promarkers. i added a scrap piece of patterned paper to the side of my mat and hid the joint was some twine and a button. the sentiment is an SU! express yourself stamp. i added the topper onto a kraft 5x5" card black, using foam to add dimension.
